Rinse and dry the kale. Remove the stems from the kale and discard. Chop the kale leaves into bite size pieces.
Place chopped kale in a large mixing bowl. Add mushrooms, craisins, and pecans.
In a blender, blend garlic, pepper, salt, oil, and lemon juice.
Pour the dressing over the kale. Toss the kale until well coated. Wait a few minutes before serving to allow the kale to become tender.
