Preheat oven to 350ºF
Peel, and then cut apples into 1/8ths, reserve
Add cut butter, sugar, apples, and cream to an oven-safe pan
Let caramelize (should be a nice light brown color)
Roll out puff pastry and place on top of apples and let rise in the pan
Place pan in the oven and let bake until puff pastry is golden brown
Flip upside-down onto a large plate to serve
