Herbed Chicken Thigh

3 lb bone-in, skin-on
chicken thighs
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
salt
a dash
pepper
3 cloves
garlic, minced
Squeezed juice
one lemon
1 tsp
fresh thyme
1 tbsp
avocado oil
1 cup
chicken broth
1 tbsp
sage
2 tbsp
fresh parsley, chopped
  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. In a large resealable plastic bag, add chicken, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, lemon juice, and thyme. Seal bag and massage chicken around until it is evenly covered with the marinade. Let marinate for at least 10-15 minutes.

  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, over high heat, add oil and wait until hot. Add marinated chicken, sear both sides of each chicken thigh for about 1-2 minutes each, until golden brown.

  3. Add broth to skillet, and sprinkle sage and parsley over each chicken thigh.

  4. Place in the oven on the middle rack, and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
