Vidalia Onion Tart

4 tbsp
butter
1 tsp
sugar
4 cups
Vidalia onion sliced
½ cup
white wine
¼ cup
chopped fresh parsley
2 cups
smoked Gruyere cheese

I make this tart year round. If Vidalia Onions are not available be sure to use a sweet onion. - Lara Lyn

  1. Melt butter in skillet, add onions with sugar and cook until tender.

  2. Remove skillet from heat and add wine, parsley and cheese.

  3. Mix all ingredients well and pour into pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted.
