Chipotle Bean Burgers

4 cans
Salt free black beans
4 cups
Cooked brown rice
4 cups
Cooked and mashed sweet potato
1 14.5 oz. can
Salt free fire roasted tomatoes
1 cup
Red onion
8 cloves
Garlic
1
Red bell pepper
1
Large carrot
1 bunch
Cilantro
4 tbsp
No-salt-added chili powder
12 tbsp
Nutritional yeast
1 tbsp
Ground cumin
1 tsp
Chipotle powder

Recipe by Chef AJ. Inspired by a recipe from the Whole Foods Market.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat or piece of parchment paper.

  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to mix. Chill.

  4. Make a patty out of ½ cup of the mixture. Place patties on the baking sheet and bake, for 30 minutes.

  5. Flip and bake for another 20- 30 minutes.
